4.5 · 62 reviewsThe leadership has been amazing! Recently my aunt encountered some challenges which were very difficult for both her and myself to walk through. The executive director and business office couldn’t have been more supportive. They went above and beyond for us and made sure that they were with us as we walked through this season. I highly recommend moving there knowing that your loved one will be apart of a loving community ran by leaders who truly lead with their hearts.
If you are present or past resident of this facility and have ever had a problem with bed bugs, please give a shout out my mother is having a problem and they claim she is the only one since [year removed]. I know tjhis cant be true or there is something shady going on.
They could raise the temperature during the winter months. They keep it at 72 degrees year round. But seniors have a tendency to be coder than the average person but they refuse to raise they temperature even one degree. Therefore we have to wear sweaters all winter long. That's not a big deal but takes some getting used to

Staff is very welcoming and friendly. I was not rushed into making a quick decision. Instead, I was allowed to take my time and come back for additional tours. It literally had everything I need/want in a home. In-unit washer and dryer, garbage disposal, microwave, full size pantry, central air and plenty of cabinet and counter space. Central air was a must, not a window unit that required fans to move cold air into the other rooms.
The facility is very nice, clean, cozy, comfy, etc. they have a lot of activities for the seniors on a daily basis which my mom loves. They also enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the cafeteria. The food is pretty good from what my mom told me. The staff there is very friendly and helpful.
I'm not a resident at Lockwood but I do often visit, and I gotta say it's lovely there! The staff members are helpful, the community is beautiful, and the residents are so nice! I even heard that they do a lot of activities with the residents so that's a bonus!

All of the staff are patient and kind. The food is hit or miss in my opinion. More consistent good food. And the activities, I wish there was more off site activities
