Bed Bugs every other month or at least quarterly. I have a family member, well over 80 years old, that lives here, and it is ridiculous that bed bugs are constantly found. They have bed bugs in the common areas which is easily transferred to your apartment. The carpets in the halls seem to have not been cleaned in a few years. Maybe they are spot cleaned but every time I visit, they look the exact same. I will do comparison photos from now on. Also, there are cloth chairs in the hallways and in the lounge area. At this point it is a risk to even do laundry. Paying over $1800 and still being…

Bed Bugs every other month or at least quarterly. I have a family member, well over 80 years old, that lives here, and it is ridiculous that bed bugs are constantly found. Maybe they are spot cleaned but every time I visit, they look the exact same. I will do comparison photos from now on. Also, there are cloth chairs in the hallways and in the lounge area. At this point it is a risk to even do laundry. Paying over $1800 and still being inconvenienced every other month is unsatisfactory. The owners should do better as we know the on-site management only controls what they are allowed. We are constantly paying more and receiving less. The food service has drastically changed since my family member moved in and we offset it by sending them food. The concept of these places is great if maintained with the care they want us to believe they have for the elderly but what I see is abundantly the opposite. At this age no one wants to move, and most will endure but the owners should do a better job. What if it were your loved one?
Lockwood of Genesee is a very nice, comfortable environment. I was greeted by a staff right away. My tour was on time, and I received a lot of information from the person who gave me the tour, and it was very pleasant. The rooms had adequate space. It was nice and clean. They got adequate parking.

I toured Lockwood of Genesee. I got a pamphlet and information about it. The tour was nice. They showed me the apartments of the residents. They gave me the pricing, and they told me the stuff that comes with it and the things they do. They have seniors there that are assisted, and non-assisted that starts at 55 and up. I liked it, and I liked the prices. The lady was really, really nice. The place was really clean. I didn't look at any of their amenities because my tour was mainly for the sleeping quarters. The outside was really clean and the structure was nice. I chatted with a couple of the ladies that were in the assisted living, and they were pretty nice too. They have an elevator. They showed me a marked apartment that was nice in style.

I toured Lockwood of Genesee. There were some activities, like they had a pool table and a huge TV. It was roomy. It was pretty, and I liked the way it looked and the decor. On one side, they had activities, and on the other side, I saw some women crocheting and knitting, and it was quiet. They have nurses come in, and they have cooks. You don't have to do anything. You can have someone come and clean your apartment. They were there every day, and the staff was professional.
I recently toured Lockwood the location is fantastic close to my favorite stores and the apartment itself is spacious and well- maintained. And last but not least the staff was and professional friendly and I love them already
They have no security, and things have been stolen from our loved one. No security, no help. The staff are friendly but not very qualified. The cost is good but the food is bad.
