I just love visiting friends at the Manor. The staff is wonderful to everyone. My friends are very happy at this facility. My dogs love to visit and are welcomed.
What a great place for loved ones. The team took fantastic care of our dad while he was there. Everyone was so kind helpful and caring. When the end came they did so much to help not only Dad, but also family and friends who came to say goodbye. We are so appreciative for this place that was so good to us and Dad. Thank you Maple Ridge Manor!
Words can't even begin to explain how amazing the care team is at Maple Ridge. I'm not sure how many children of aging parents have a comparison "data set" of sorts -- but I do. I moved dad to Maple Ridge after 13 months in another senior living facility. Although it was a much further drive for me, the decision was the best. Dad got to spend his final months in the most beautiful place. But the nice fixtures and furnishings pale in comparison to the care, compassion and respect that he received from Heather and her great team of care-givers. Maple Ridge isn't corporate-owned either. Its the ONLY facility managed by its owner. And to have a senior living center where the owner is present with "boots on the ground?" Unheard of? Back to the care. Here's a series of words that come to mind when describing the Maple Ridge team: Patient, helpful, respectful, compassionate, caring, concerned, and great at communication with residents and children alike. Beyond that, they are committed. Committed to making their last days the best. Committed to showing up at work. Committed to helping each other. Because of the commitment that Laura and Morgan had for my dad, he was a happy man. Thank you Heather, Grace, Myndy and most of all thanks to Laura and Morgan.
My grandfather is a current resident. Although I am unable to visit as often as I'd like (I live on the other side of the state, employed at a nursing home), the times I have been able to visit were great. The building was clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The job can be tough at times, but the staff have always been friendly, kind, and respectful. When asked questions, staff had answers or were able to find someone who knew the answers to assist. My grandfather was in a wheelchair when he first arrived, and is now ambulating with a walker. I have weekly phone calls with him on Fridays, where he continually gives praises to ALL of the staff. He LOVES the food, floor staff, and even enjoys going to some of the activities. He speaks very highly of everyone there, including the owners who take the time to come and assist their staff throughout the week. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, I would highly recommend Maple Ridge Manor! A big thank you to ALL of the staff! P.s. to all of the staff reading this; working in nursing/assisted living homes isn't always easy, but keep going. You do what you do for a reason, and it means something to your residents and their families. Especially when it shows. Have a blessed Christmas and holiday season.
I have nothing good to say about this place, only giving a star so I can write a reveiw... worst place ever, looks nice, but treats your loved ones like they are a bother to them.. all they want is to over medicate, and overdose the clients...lies and more lies from the so called nurses there.. I highly recommend to never bring anyone you love and care about there!!!
Just because a place looks nice, doesn’t mean the people in it are nice. Understaffed and treat residents like animals in a cage. Pictures are beautiful… that’s NOT reality. Not ONE nurse works here… it’s ran by teenagers with NO CNAs usually. Giving out HIGH class medicine such as morphine to the wrong residents over dosing them and not reporting anything to the state. Residents fall they pick them back up with no reports done…
This place treated my beautiful healthy Mom like a dog! In 4 weeks she was over medicated to the point she had seizers and possibly dystonia. Went from walking and talking to in a wheelchair. My mom has dementia and this place did not care about her or care for her! Not enough staff in memory care and the ones they have are mostly teenagers! My mom fell broke her hip and was left in a frozen position from over medications and the director did not want our family to call an ambulance, sent email stating she was old has dementia so why bother? There is a person there that lies and manipulates the residents and the family's of residents. Just be very weary and present with how your family member is being treated and cared for... We were there almost every day and evening and this still happened to my poor momma .. I have videos of what this place did to my mom and she lost quality of life we can never get back! My mom never fell one day in her life and she is 68 not 88 2 falls and a broken hip within a 24 hr period. P.s I have now since this review been threatened by Mapleidge for slander.....but this is my and my family's experience and everything I posted can be proven...I don't want trouble, but it is my right to post a review of my opinion and experience....
Their grass looks amazing!
