These losers were hanging up on me when trying to call my mom for Mother's day. I called 7 times, they would pick up, I could hear commotion in the back ground, then hang up. One lady hung up on me when I asked for the number for the GTC building.
Went from not being able to walk to now being able to walk out the door on my prosthetic with the help from the therapy staff.
This is a nursing home and rehab center.
Absolutely horrendous. My husband was withheld care in this facility. State investigation leads to whistle blower retaliation. Kevin super rn will withhold pain meds from your family member. Better hope evening rn Richard is paying attention he doesn't when he's passing meds. This place is an abhorrent Medicare bill mill. Stay away.
At my visit with a dear friend ,her room was dirty but yet bathroom was worse. No hot water! So no showers! Try to call there no answer they must cut off the call. Very disappointed for my loved one!
My mother Reva Teboe been in there since 2019. The whole time she was in there she was treated with dignity and respect. The staff always went above and beyond to take care of my mother. I would highly Recommend Medilodge to whoever finds them self in the situation of needing a nursing facility. Thank you everyone on staff at Medilodge. You have no idea how much you appreciated.
I was there twice this year nurses and stuff was really nice I had no complaints about them it was nice clean building also if I had go to rehab again that where I would go and I would tell someone to go there for their rehab happy easter
Rehab might be okay, but not skilled nursing care. Never meet a doctor. PA is there once in awhile. If you are family with Power of Attorney over Healthcare, they will not ask permission to change meds as though you are the patient, which is the whole point behind Healthcare POA. Administration does not provide adequate training or support for nursing staff. No coordination between kitchen and nursing staff. Think about that. Sometimes no adult sip-cups or bendable straws for patient access to water or other drinks. Food terrible and not cut up or fed to patient as may be needed. If two-person assist, it takes too long for two staff to arrive and they are not well trained in the lift equipment. Patient left dangling more than once, more often than not, this pressure after too long caused patient to defecate on floor. Humiliating. Mattresses get soaked and stinking with urine. Windows drafty. Admin Heidi will send patient to ER in defiance of family Healthcare POA wishes and NOT notify hospice, which is to stop unnecessary ER visits. Why? To displace the patient for good. Munson ER said, "Tell Medilodge we are not a dumping ground for their unwanted patients." Finance dept. confirmation to long-term care insurance providers very slow, if you're private pay and trying to get reimbursed. No accountability. Also Hospice of Michigan staff are closer to GTC Medilodge staff than the patients. This is not in the patient's best interests. Zero stars. Go anywhere else.
