I cannot say enough wonderful things about Simona and Ovi and the incredible care they gave my mom during the last months of her life. From the very beginning, they treated her with such kindness, patience, dignity, and genuine compassion. They didn’t just care for her—they truly cared about her. Watching someone you love decline with dementia is one of the hardest experiences a family can go through, especially when you can’t be there every day. Knowing my mom was with Simona and Ovi, surrounded by people who were gentle with her, attentive to her needs, and treated her with love, gave me a sense of comfort that I will always be grateful for. They knew her little routines, her moods, the things that made her comfortable, and the things that could make her smile. Even on the difficult days, they continued to treat her with patience, respect, and tenderness. They became so much more than caregivers—they became an important part of our family’s journey. One of the little memories I will always treasure is seeing my mom color in her coloring books. She actually colored in the lines, and seeing her do that was such a beautiful reminder of the mom I knew. It may seem like such a small thing, but during those difficult months, those little moments meant everything to me. I’m grateful that Simona and Ovi gave her the patience and encouragement to keep doing the things she enjoyed. I will forever be grateful for every meal they helped her with, every hand they held, every time they comforted her, and every little act of kindness that made her days a little easier. When I think about my mom’s final months, there is so much sadness, but there is also tremendous gratitude knowing she was cared for by Simona and Ovi, who truly made a difference in her life. Thank you, Simona and Ovi, from the bottom of my heart, for taking such beautiful care of my mom. I will never forget what you did for her, the love you showed her, or what you meant to our family.
