My daughter and I toured many facilities and OakTree place stood out above all. A representative from the referral service a place for mom highly recommended it. I am at the home almost every day and one of the things that amazes me the most is the attention to detail for the needs of each individual resident The place is very clean and the owner and staff are very professional and accommodating. I highly recommend OakTree Place.
This place is great! My mother was in Assisted Living for over six years. After a hospital stay I found Oaktree Place Senior Living, and my mom moved in. I sure wish that we found this home six years earlier! The change has been amazing. This is an actual home, with great meals, housemates to converse with, and share the day. They can sit on the patio and soak up the sun, watch the deer, watch television, sing, and just be happy. Guests and family are encouraged to visit, and the atmosphere is just so pleasant. This place is great! My mother was in Assisted Living for over six years. After a hospital stay I found Oaktree Place Senior Living, and my mom moved in. I sure wish that we found this home six years earlier! The change has been amazing. This is an actual home, with great meals, housemates to converse with, and share the day. They can sit on the patio and soak up the sun, watch the deer, watch television, sing, and just be happy. Guests and family are encouraged to visit, and the atmosphere is just so pleasant. The meals are great, and requests are fulfilled. Medications are dispensed as required and in my mother's case, Hospice is welcomed and they work together with the caregivers to ensure that the best care and instructions are followed. The smaller size of the home definitely allows more individualized care and attention, and my mother is absolutely thriving. She is 98 1/2 years old, and enjoys all her new friends and lifestyle. This place has been a Godsend, after the years of loneliness in a drab room. I can't say enough good things about the lift in my mother's spirits and outlook on life. I toured Oaktree Place. I was going to give them a deposit check, but then they decided my friend needed too much care for 1 or 2 people who would be there full-time. It's a house. It has four bedrooms. They have two people and most of the bedrooms would have been a single bedroom. They had big sofa chairs to watch the big screen TV. If they wanted, they could sit at the dining table. She would make the food for them. The one lady who made all the food and took care of their nursing issues. With other residents they had, my friend, would have put her over the limit of care.
