. MY mom was there for 2 weeks and when she asked for water she had to wait for about an hour before she got it . When she asked for ice water she was told that they had no ice and there is a ice machine in the kitchen. This place is a joke ...they didn't work with her about getting in and out of a vehicle.
My brother was there for rehabilitation and when we went to visit him he was in the Alzheimer's wing in a wheel chair unaware of what was going on or where he was. He was there two days and was left around 4pm and they found him in cardiac arrest around five. We had to let him go today and that was so hard and he was so young 41. He was improving at the hospital and died at the Fremont Regency rehabilitation...How!? Why!? When I called to check on him the lady said I have 47 residents and 3 aides. She had to catch up on what was what there and that is heart breaking. The workers are over…

He was improving at the hospital and died at the Fremont Regency rehabilitation...How!? Why!? When I called to check on him the lady said I have 47 residents and 3 aides. She had to catch up on what was what there and that is heart breaking. The workers are over worked and aggressive trying to get done what is asked of them. Well my brother was scared and he was awesome and very loved by his siblings and mom and cousins and whole family. If they needed help to care for him we would have helped. The reason he was there is because we thought he was in a medically trained environment. We put his care in your medically trained environment just for it to end his life. Please do not take any more residents that you can not take care of. That's someone's whole world that you are unable to help or do not have the time to be efficient with one of them.
The staff at Regency appears to believe everyone that they are taking care of is a close friend or family member. The residents are normally actively participating in a group activity or content and hanging out with their friends.
I can’t say enough about the care that my Mom received during her stay at Regency At Fremont. She came to look at the staff as family and they treated her as such. During her last days, they were very accommodating, and we can’t thank them enough for all they have done for my mom and our family. All of the staff were amazing, however Tony, Karen, Amy, and Candy were exceptional in the care and support they provided.
I loved this place. The staff was very nice and caring. Even the residence in the dining room were very nice. The food was great. Better food than at any facility I have been to. They were great all the way from staff down to the food. Happy birthday
Poor care. Understaffed. Untrained. Do not send your relatives there is not safe if you plan to recover and use this for rehab.
The girls at Regency are so caring, and I love seeing how they interact with my mom. She has been there with alzheimer/dementia for a quite a while, and they've always treated her like she was family!!!!!
