We went to visit family and it took forever for them to open the door. They also left our family member in soiled pants for 2 hours. Maybe you need to hire more personnel.

I would like to give a shout out for nurse, Laura at Schnepp Senior Care. Today I called to advocate for our Mother who was just moved from Alma Hospital to Schnepp's for rehab. We didn't feel our Mom, who has severe Dementia had proper safety measures put in place and had spoken to several nurses and Today I made a call to the nurses station and was told Laura would assist me. After speaking to Laura and Laura speaking to her supervisor, our requests for proper safety devices for our Mom were put into place. Thank you, Laura

Moved my mother from Masonic Pathways to Schnepp. The staff Schnepp has employed are compassionate and knowledgeable. Best decision we have ever made.

The worst place to be at. I cried every night. All the nurses are rude, I would never recommend this place. They need shut down and licence revoked. Your stuck on a bed pan for "normally" a hour. They don't answer your call light for a hour. It's not that their busy at the time, they don't like me. I can't wait to get out of here.

To start with I will say the therapy department is amazing!!!! As far as the rest of the staff... they have no business working in the medical field!!! The "care" my mother received while here was absolutely atrocious, and I use the word care loosely....because there is very few individuals there that have any care, to give to the patients. One of the aides, Joslyn, actually lectured & degraded my mother because my mom needed help to get up so she could use the restroom....and had my mom just soiled herself due to not receiving the care she was there to get, she would of been left for hours to sit in her soiled depends....because we saw several patients there who unfortunately experienced that. The call lights at this facility should be obsolete because they either go unanswered or if someone actually comes in the patients room after 30 minutes or longer, of their call light being on....the staff act like the patient is a complete inconvenience to them. This facility should have their license revoked & be shut down.

This place is amongst the worst care facilities I've ever seen. No commutation about necessary medical testing. Understaffed to dangerous levels. Doctors that round there care so little it's tragic. Recently there was a fire alarm pulled and the fire department had to respond because no one could answer the phone to verify if there was an actual fire. If you value your loved ones, anywhere but here

Regarding my OWN personal experience, there were many areas that I found unacceptable. Yes, many of the staff were kind/caring. Others had the personality of a wet stone. Physical/Occupational therapists were great. House doctor (Anderson) not available or did not return his page. You call that a doctor? Came to see me only ONCE during my 3 week stay. Changed medications without my knowledge. Went against the orders of my kidney doctor (I have stage 4 kidney failure and am on dialysis 3 days a week. I have a port that is NOT to get wet. He authorized a shower..... Guess what??? It got totally wet along with the cast on my leg. Even though they tried to cover it with Saran Wrap, it got soaked. He needs to be fired. Quality of food was fairly good at first but went downhill fast the last 10 days or so. I was actually left hungry. Was offered a hamburger, but one can only tolerate enough of those. Most sandwich type offerings came cold and without condiments. The nursing staff seemed confused about some meds I was to take before eating, so I didn't get them. Another kidney thing. Response time from ringing the "button for help" was long in coming. AND, when it was time for my discharge, several clothing items came up missing. I have yet to see them. Have been home for over a week. I want reimbursed, but that seems to be a long process in and of itself. Again, there were some good things, but I doubt I could recommend this place and won't go back. My stay was not pleasant. How they have a 5 star rating is beyond me. I am sure there are other things that I could comment on, but I think it's pretty clear what my perspective is. OH, also was left on the patio in the DARK for over 45 minutes because no one would answer the door buzzer. REALLY??? Had to start yelling into someone's window to get help from a nurse who was in that room. That is all. I want my clothes or a check. Many thanks to those few who were kind and caring.

Had a family member stay here on day one they fell in their care and no safety measures in place. They left the family member sitting in urine for hours because no one would help. Rehab did nothing for them either mostly just let them sit in a room. Then sent them home when the family member when they wasn't healthy just to end up back in the hospital the next day because of it. If you value your family find some where elese to take them!!
