don’t judge a book by its cover, these reviews below are from 2 to 5 years ago.

This place needs to be shut down. The residents deserve better care. Respect and honesty, the staff here does not care about the residents. If I could give this place 0 I would. Do not send your loved ones here!!! They will not love them.

I had a family Members living here..completely disappointed. Dirty briefs laying in the halls. The smell of urine as soon as you walk in...I moved my family member as soon as the new administration got there. The last administrator Virginia new her stuff. This new lady? Really couldnt care less. If you love your family members, do not take them here.

I do not recommend this facility to anyone! My grandmother went to the hospital and when they check her blood sugar, it was at 24!!! She is diabetic and they have either not given her the right insulin, or they have just didn’t giver insulin. There were a few good care takers there. They however have left. Or they got fired for trying to report things they have found or feel need to be reported!

I just wanted to say this is the worst place you could possibly go!! I’ve seen with my own eyes the coworkers and Boss allowing a resident to talk down, try to hit and call an employee names and nothing was done! An Employee threatens to hit another employee all because a resident was going outside when they where not supposed too. It’s so unprofessional! No certification required almost all the workers there are off drugs. And no I’m not making this up! Pills go missing all the time. Some coworkers are allowed to show up to work late and leave early thru out there shifts but if my friend shows up late for one day because her daughter is sick she gets in trouble and yelled at for. This job is drama full, and very much unprofessional. I am very disappointed with my experience there!

My mother lived here for a little over 2 yrs. Initially there were capable, caring people working there. She got her meds and insulin on time. The food was very good. However, management changed and her health began to suffer. The food was all carbs and there wasn't much of it. I took my mom to the doctor and through her blood work, found out she was malnourished. She was not getting enough protein. I would not send another person here to live.

Not a place for Mom or Dad. Non licensed. The food is all carbs. Un trained staff. The Administration is poison. Lack of respect. Over worked staff and underpaid. It is cheap for a reason. All about the money. Please read this again. The smell is sickening.

Just look at the car driving by this place and do the same thing. It's not licensed no nurses on staff. The Administration is Toxic. And the food is all carbs. No wonder it is the cheapest A.F.C. in Traverse city. Please don't send anyone here. Ask the residents if they allow you. And look around. Lip service is all you get..Remember it is Not Licensed and No Nurses. No certificated staff. They hire anyone off the streets to pass out Meds, with 1 day of training. It is not a place for Mom. I won't let them watch my gold fish it's that bad..Thank you Virginia B Rios for not doing anything.
