Great people. We had a great time with the residents, as Santa 🎅 and Mrs Claus 🤶
Family has to be a very active role in their loved ones care there. When I moved my aunt there, she was already under the care of Elara Hospice. The facility apparently has another Hospice that they have historically worked closely with. It was clear to me, very quickly that the facility was 'resistant' to Elara being the gatekeeper for my aunts medical care. Almost a butting of heads between the two, which sometimes impeded quality and timely care of my aunt. Even care coordination meetings didn't help the situation. Family has to be a very active role in their loved ones care there. When I moved my aunt there, she was already under the care of Elara Hospice. The facility apparently has another Hospice that they have historically worked closely with. It was clear to me, very quickly that the facility was 'resistant' to Elara being the gatekeeper for my aunts medical care. Almost a butting of heads between the two, which sometimes impeded quality and timely care of my aunt. Even care coordination meetings didn't help the situation. It was very frustrating for both my Aunt and myself. I found myself more focused on troubleshooting with the two entities, than being able to appreciate the little time I had left with my Aunt (she passed away 10/01).

The staff was very accommodating to my parents needs. My dad was receiving total care for his dementia, but my mom was receiving none. The staff still helped her as needed. She was getting chemo every 2 weeks and the staff knew when she would have bad days and needed care. My mom passed before my dad, which was unexpected. My dad was then moved to the dementia wing and they took very good care of him. There was only one aide that my dad had issues with, and she didn't last long there. The mgmt staff was excellent.
Spring Arbor Assisted Living Center is very attractive. It's well kept up, and the staff is very responsive. The activities are a little light; however, they do have a library and exercises. I know my friend is using both of those. Their food is just food, but it's warm. And the dining room is well kept up, and the service is very good. The place is clean. The staff is overall better at Spring Arbor. My friend has had more contact with the nursing staff and medical staff since she's been there.
Spring Arbor Assisted Living is a fantastic facility. I recommend this place 100%! They are so caring and understanding. The staff is also there to help you with whatever you need.
Nice place, great people, good food! They all show a genuine interest in the health AND happiness of each resident. Cleanliness of each apartment including laundry, etc. outstanding! They're doing a better job than we could!
I have had two elderly family members here during the past 15 months. The staff has been remarkable. The caretakers have taken a personal interest in the residents and made them feel like family. The nursing staff has been knowledgeable and on top of their medical situations throughout. The office staff always greets you with a smile and has made helpful suggestions involving the details of their care. Thank you to everyone at Spring Arbor Assisted Living !
