Do not send anyone here that you really care about. If there is a maintenance emergency, you cannot get a hold of anybody. We have been without water all day Friday. I had to call around to find out the reason why they never notified anybody. We still don’t have any hot water because maintenance have not come in to light the pilot light. I had to heat water up the tea kettle in order to bathe or do dishes or anything else. Didn’t have any drinking water, half the day Friday. When you try to get a hold of somebody is very difficult there phone line is full so you cannot leave a message. On the…

I don’t believe this. When you have a maintenance request for your apartment they do not fix it. It’s been over a year and a half, and I still haven’t got any of my maintenance request.
I toured St. George Tower three years ago and I liked it there. My rent would have probably been like $300 a month. I'm waiting and I keep checking in on the list and they can't tell me when my name will come up because they don't know either. You just got to call every so often and check and let them know you're still waiting. They're separate apartments and it's only independent. The staff was very friendly. The building was in good shape. The apartment that I saw was small, but it's just what I need, one bedroom with a kitchenette, a living room, and a bath. It's a high rise. They don't…

The key word here is, "Independent living." Based on your income, St George Tower is a perfect fit for lower income seniors, like myself. There is handicapped apartments, and the waiting list for those are long. The handicapped apartments are also "independent living." With those needing assistance, it is up to the family and any outside assistance as needed. The building is well maintained and clean. Very strict rules for resident conduct, and NO SMOKING POLICY in place. Activities are conducted and arranged by the residents. Mostly card, board, games and a puzzle room area to enjoy.…

My mother loves St. George's! I had to move her out because she was having some surgery but she can't wait to move back in. It's a much larger facility and there is a lot more activities there. St. Georges was founded by an orthodox priest year and years and years ago and the Church that my mother's father went to was St. George's orthodox church. So it was developed for the church practitioners and then changed into what it is now. There are still some Syrian people and my mother is fluent in Arabic. She's just more comfortable there. She's on the waiting list and they said quite possibly in February she can move in. I sure hope so!
