3.5 · 106 reviewsThis place is a nightmare on Elm Street!!!!!! My mother was transferred from Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, Royal Oak MI for a hip replacement. My mom was admitted for rehabilitation. This facility is understaffed, no call lights answered for 2 to 3 hours. Midnights is the worst, 25 to 30 patients to 1 CNA, patient ratio for the nurses and CNA’s are absolutely ridiculous. Dayshift is terrible too, per DON stated to me via phone, 1 CNA for 16 patients in rehab is standard procedure, no assistance for post surgery patients, if they need help. This place is a nightmare on Elm Street!!!!!! DON asked for pictures of my mom breakdown and never respond or call me back. My mom had a breakdown after 48 hours in this place, she didn’t have no skin issues when she was admitted, only her surgical bandage, my mom had no assistance to the bathroom or assistance to transfer in and out of bed, my mom was trying to transfer herself out of bed to the bathroom, she was hearing patients crying for help, while being ignored. The midnights nurse sitting at the desk, no CNA available on midnights for hours, call lights on for hours, afternoons are understaffed and needing assistance, day shift is not much better. Management doesn’t care, the administrator was not concerned about her building, she was hiding somewhere in the building, no linen for staff to assist the patients, the food was terrible, we were told the stove was broken, the kitchen doesn’t have the budget to provide quality meals for the patients due to the lack of money in their budget, per corporate. it’s sad what we experienced, especially how these patients are being treated. Corporate has no concern about their patients, corporate was in the building too, it’s about money, the therapy department is disrespectful to the CNA’s and the patients, they don’t help assist the CNA’s while they’re understaffed, therapy leave the patients in the bed and walk away while they’re understaffed, instead of assisting the patients out of bed for therapy, which is a part of their therapy to learn how to transfer out of bed and care for themselves before discharging home. 1 CNA trying to get up 16 patients by themselves. It’s horrible!!!!!!! The family of the patients are screaming and hollering at the CNA’s because their love ones are suffering from a lack of care, due to no help and understaffed. The State comes in and out of this building multiple times, but never talk with the staff or patients about the issues and complaints. Management only helps the staff when corporate or the State is in the building. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE!!!!!!!!!!! Do not believe these fake reviews saying this is a great place, it’s a lie. It’s a Nightmare on the Manor of Farmington Hills. Good service starts with Management. I helped assist my mom, because of them being understaffed, but I can’t speak for the other family members. I feel sorry for the staff🥲. I removed my mom out of that hell hole.
We were searching for a long-term home from my elderly mother, whose health is now in decline. Finding a quality place that had openings was a lengthy process, and the admissions director, Ebony Dardy truly went above and beyond staying in direct touch with me, and working through all of the required issues until there was an availability. Now that my mother is a resident, literally all of the people I have met who take care of my mother are just plain excellent! They are compassionate, caring, and always focused on doing a fantastic, professional job: they see to my mother's needs extremely…

Now that my mother is a resident, literally all of the people I have met who take care of my mother are just plain excellent! They are compassionate, caring, and always focused on doing a fantastic, professional job: they see to my mother's needs extremely well, each and every day. The facility is always clean and tidy: I could not be more pleased with the Manor!
The administration , nurses, cna's, and therapist were extraordinary. My stay was very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping my room clean.

My father has been here at least three times and each and every time it is the upmost wonderful experience from check-in to discharge from Ebony in admissions to Gia in social work to the Gna‘s and the nurses and physicians I have been a nurse for 32 years and I always tell the truth about wonderful or bad experiences and I can say nothing bad about this place anything I asked I never got attitude. No question is too stupid and even coming from a nurse background is hard for me being on the other end and they told me treat me With the upmost respectThey really really are wonderful with my dad helping me through this journey with him and it’s been a long journey in and out of the hospital. I’m going to them and only them. I don’t even look at any other facilities. We had one bad experience at another facility and once we came to Farmington Manor, I no longer what him or anyone I love any Where else so that I never have to worry About their care.
Thank you so very much to Ebony Dardy the Admissions Director for all of your help getting my husband admitted and taken care of! He received the bestest care! He was comfortable and had everything he needed, I didn't have to worry about him! His PICC line and wound was taken care of, the physical therapy he received was top notch! He had so much fun at all of the activities, Bingo, cards, Cinco de Mayo, pizza night and more! The staff was so kind and helpful, everything was clean, and we met so many residents that were happy and taken care of as well! From the bottom of our hearts thank you for everything! We hope we don't need in patient rehab or nursing care again but it is so nice to know everyone at The Manor in Farmington Hills is there for us if we do! ❤️
Must deal with Ebony, she is a wonderful person and very understanding of any situation you’re in. Your loved one is in good hands.
I place my Aunt here 2 years in a row the Staff is amazingly kind, very clean environment, food was good my Aunt is very picking but she enjoy the meals staff,PT, OT S.W Gina is so caring and very in touch with the residence,Ebony is amazing also please think twice before you send your family anywhere else for Rehab or A Nursing facility and please be kind to all staff they are ALL hard caring, very professional workers!!!!!!!
I WAN’T TO START OFF BY THANKING THE PHYSICAL AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST. ANGELIN, RUBY, MAKAYLA AND MARK. THEY WERE THE BEST PART OF MY STAY THERE. THEY ARE COMPASSIONATE,CARING AND REALLY CARE ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF THEIR PATIENTS. THEY ARE THE BEST THING THAT HAD HAPPENED TO THAT FACILITY. THE REST OF THE CARE TREATMENT IN THAT FACILITY IS TRASH. THE CNA’S ARE RUDE AND LAZY. WHEN YOU HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE ABOUT DOING THEIR JOB THEY GET MAD AND START TO RETALIATE WITH MORE ATTITUDE. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER MOST OF TIME. IT WAS ALWAYS ANT’S EVERY WHERE. I NEVER GOT MY MEDS ON TIME ESPECIALLY IN THE AFTERNOON SHIFT WE DIDN’T GET OUR MEDS UNTIL MIDNIGHT BECAUSE THEY WERE ALWAYS SHORT STAFF. MY OVERALL STAY WAS TERRIBLE I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE ONLY FOR THERAPY PURPOSES ONLY I WOULD NOT TRUST MY LOVED ONE THERE AT ALL THEIR MIDNIGHT STAFF IS TRASH
