My mom has been here for over a year. The staff has been nothing but kind and generous to her. She’s very happy here which makes it makes leaving her and someone else’s care much easier. I feel like she’s happy and safe.

Wow, I wish I would have read the reviews to this dump. My mom has been unfortunately in this place for going on a month now and all they do is keep her drugged up and half the night time aides and weekend aides refuse to help this 70+ year old woman out of a chair. Attempting to speak to the head of nurses is like speaking to a wall, she had the audacity to act like we were making up stories just to get attention. Stay far way from this place, god forbid you care about your friend or family member. You WILL regret leaving them in this place under her and her aides care.

A great place for aging parents

Both of my parents spent time here and it was the absolute worst environment I’ve ever seen! Called my mother’s room several times and no answer, finally called the nurses station and they checked and she was barely coherent. The nurse left her on the phone while she was barely able to communicate! I would not recommend this place for anyone!

I gave a 1 because the only thing good about that place was the CNA (Stacy) that took care of my mom. My mom was there for 2 weeks for rehab after a week in the Hospital with influenza-A, dehydration, weakness. Mom was a fall risk, her first day there she waited over a hour for someone to answer her call light so she could go to the bathroom. She ended up taking herself with the use of her meal tray table for support. She had to ask for DAILY fresh water. she was only given water in the morning. At times I would visit her and her bathroom was NOT clean. Staff was rude and disrespectful. It took me complaining to her Dr (PA) to something to be done, then the DON came into her room, I explained I was taking my mom home and for the reasons stated, she was condescending in speaking with me and asked that I give them another chance. When I complained to the nurse manager about the treatment and disrespect received by both my mom and myself, the response "Oh I have heard those names before" yet nothing was done. Mom was placed on an insulin sliding scale, mom paid for the insulin (I have the proof from her insurance) yet she was not discharged with her meds (yes multiple). Don't try calling into the facility as n o one answers the phone ie: I called one evening to speak with moms nurse as I couldn't make it in do to the weather (snow and freezing rain), it took me over 1 1/2 hours and multiple attempts to get to someone. When I finally did, it was a very rude woman named Sharon, I explained that I was unable to get a hold of anyone on the unit my mom was on and asked if she could get someone to call me. Very rudely, she stated" What do you want me to do about it? It's not my unit, I can't go down there" . Often the front door was locked and guests needed to ring a buzzer. I waited over half an hour to be let in one day and the woman, again Sharon, got angry that she had to answer the door. Food was horrible. She was never asked to participate in any activity even though she did ask her aid, they didn't do anything. I am writing this as my letters to the facility were not responded to, so hopefully they'll see this and reach out. PS: I wouldn't take a dead dog to that facility!!!!!

I expressed concern that my Mother had fallen twice in two days. Ashly was confrontational, argumentative, interrupted and was immature. When I explained that she was mistaken, Ashly explained that they are short-staffed on weekends. I asked to escalate my concerns-- no one called back.
