She had advanced dementia and, by the time she arrived, she had become very anxious and difficult to care for. She was often restless, fearful, unable to sleep, and would frequently call out or disturb the other residents. She also needed help eating and required a tremendous amount of patience and attention. We will be forever grateful for the love, compassion, and care our mother received at Vicky’s Homes. She had advanced dementia and, by the time she arrived, she had become very anxious and difficult to care for. She was often restless, fearful, unable to sleep, and would frequently call out or disturb the other residents. She also needed help eating and required a tremendous amount of patience and attention. What touched us most was that the caregivers never gave up on her or made us feel that she was “too difficult.” Instead, they went above and beyond to keep her comfortable and reassured, finding ways to meet her needs while making sure she felt safe and cared for. Knowing that she was treated with such patience, kindness, and dignity during her final weeks gave our family tremendous peace of mind. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Vicky’s Homes and will always be grateful for the care they gave our mother.

Finding Vicky’s place was the biggest blessing my family and I could have asked for. My grandma was a resident for 5 years. Throughout that time Vicky and her staff became like family to us. Knowing we found a home that took care of my grandma when things were out of our control brought us so much peace. The staff and residents were always friendly. Grooming, feeding, cleanliness and comfort were always priority. They made sure we were always updated on every change. They always celebrated every holiday and birthday which was so special. As a young nurse, I would recommend this facility with my whole heart. They truly care for your family like family of their own. Thank you Vicky, Sorin, Kanice, Adrian, Norma, Mary and everyone else. Words cannot describe how thankful we are.
Vicky’s place took incredible care my Grandmother for many years. She was treated with diligent compassion, dignity and love. Vicky’s Place was a gift to our family. My mother received the best care from a loving and quality team. I have 6 years of experience with with other senior care facilities and none came close to Vicky’s Place. For the first time, I had peace of mind that my mom was in good hands when I was not with her.
I want to share the amazing experience I had with Vickys Place, Group Home, in Farmington Hills. I took care of my mom for the past 6 years using top Corporate Senior Living Communities. Sadly, I had to make 4-5 trips/week to make sure she was getting the care she needed on a consistent basis. What I learned and wish I had known sooner, is the high-quality care for elderly offered by Senior Group Homes. I researched & chose Vicky’s Place for Mom. I was astounded at the contrast in care she received. The home was spacious, clean & each resident had a leather overstuffed armchair. They got 3 home cooked meals served fresh & hot. They were showered 2 times a week & sponge bathed daily before being dressed. Vitals were taken daily by staff & regular health checks by nurses & doctors. The staff knew my mother personally. They were long-term employees of Vicky’s Place. I highly recommend Vicky’s Place. For the first time, I had peace of mind my mom was in good hands when I was not with her.
Vicky's Place Assisted Living is the best.. they treated our mother like family. The food was excellent. Wonderful and kind staff. Very very clean facility. They even have holiday dinners which include family members. Visitation hours are adjusted so family can visit. There is absolutely no better facility. I highly recommend Vicky's place.
The care for our Mother was above and beyond expectations. Beautiful very clean home with caring and kind staff. Food is excellent. Vicky's is absolutely the best. There is a feeling of a home that your family member will feel as being part of a family. Exceptionally clean no smells ..... Vicky's has family dinners where families attend with their loved ones for the holidays. There is no better place for your family member and your family to have your loved one cared for.
Vicky has an amazing house who takes care of each person like there her family. Been the best year for my mom. The staff is excellent.
