I want to thank you the day staff of the 200 section, I will miss them Tisha, Sue, Sam, Shante (I think) she is the supervisors nurse from another section, PT Sam and Julie, Also OT’’s they were ALL wonderful!!! The reason I put 4 instead of 5 is bc of the food, they really need to work on provide better choices, but if u bring your own food everything good lol, If I ever need it again I’d go back!!!

I believe in the area of obtaining medical assistance/care whether at a hospital or supporting entities, all we can expect is best effort which in most cases is bare minimum. It’s truly sad when you are met with dry, surly inconsistent reception from staff. When individuals seek out facilities like these it is a cry for help with your physical and mental wellbeing. Why should I believe I am able to get better service from a fast food restaurant than a medical facility that I have placed the total care of myself or loved ones. I believe the entire staff should require weekly if not daily sensitivity training reinforced with a performance management regimen. I am not blaming the warm body that was hired to fill a slot. I blame leadership for hiring and allowing this less than substandard behavior. In other words, ‘you are only as good as your leadership team.’ If an employee respects their leadership and has been trained properly, they would never put them (and the organization) in a bad light. I am now expanding my search for a more suitable facility. It should be a calling for those that wish to work in the field of patient care and not simply a paycheck. Whether you realize it or not, one day you too will require the care of a health center…rehab, nursing, hospital or other. So sad…greatest country in the world???

Amazing place staff on the patents very clean

I am deeply disappointed with the level of care at West Bloomfield Health and Rehab. During our stay in January 2026, my loved one frequently waited over 10 minutes for call lights to be answered, even for basic needs. I personally witnessed a nurse (Naya) chatting in the hallway or walking calmly past rooms without checking in, despite the call lights being active. It appeared she was unwilling to assist with basic hygiene or restroom needs, deferring entirely to aides. This was confirmed to be a violation of facility policy by the nursing manager, who stated both nurses and aides share those responsibilities. For a high-risk fall patient, this lack of urgency is alarming. It is heartbreaking to imagine the experience of patients who do not have family present to walk to the nurse's station to demand assistance. Furthermore, we encountered blatant medical negligence regarding medication. A nurse (Takesha) insisted on administering insulin on her own schedule rather than following the physician’s orders, explicitly stating, “I don’t have to do what the doctor says, I’m the nurse here and I know what’s best for my patients.” When we brought these issues to management, we were told that if our loved one was a high fall risk, we should either hire private 1-on-1 care or find a different facility. It is important to note that there are some great, caring people at this facility—specifically Kendra, Bree, Dorsey, Sonya, and Jay. They were wonderful to work with, but unfortunately, they seem to be the exception in a system that feels severely understaffed and poorly managed. If you have a family member with dementia or high-care needs, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The lack of accountability and the disregard for doctor-prescribed treatments make this an unsafe environment.

I highly recommend this nursing home. I grew up with Macedonian parents they adopted me and took care of me in their house now that they are in the nursing home I’ll come visit them. They’re very good. The staffs are good. They take good care of the old people God bless this nursing home. I highly recommend to put the family members that are needed in this nursing home is a reliable nursing home I love you Jovan and Reita ❤️🙏🏽🙌🏼 they took care of me since day one my parents now that I’m 19 an older they teach me good things. Cardiac Rehabilitation Overloaded with up to 10 people in the small space with limited equipment. Program is the same to all regardless of the levers of the issue. Personal is polite, however no personal approach to rehabilitation. I my case, I have additionally a knee issues and can not use some equipment, but since treadmills are limited and only one elliptical, I had to stop exercise. Looks like this is good business for owner and not very intuitive for patients. Unfortunately, I have to look for something else

They took excellent care of my father after he was discharged from the hospital. Wonderful nurses, aids and staff! The room was spacious and comfortable and the facility itself was kept very clean. Thank you very much for taking such great care of my dad! Highly recommend!

Following a hospital stay , my husband was fortunate to be cared for at West Bloomfield Nursing Center. The entire staff, Drs, nurses, therapists, activities directors nursing assistants , front desk people were all attentive, caring, knowledgeable and professional. The overall attitude was welcoming and genuinely kind. I would highly recommend this Center for rehab. And recovery . I felt that they made a pleasant experience out of an unpleasant situation.
