4.2 · 176 reviewsTruly outstanding!!! My dad had been a resident since 2021. The Management and Staff are superb! I highly recommend a family's loved one stay here. They will be in safe hands and receive great care!!!!
They are very friendly and accommodating. Everything was explained thoroughly as to the care my mom received. Apartments were a nice size. My mom had a studio that was spacious. She took advantage of the amenities (exercise classes, musical guests, salon).
I toured Brookdale Southfield. I thought the facility and surroundings were very nice, and looked like they'd be very comfortable. The actual living spaces were to me, a little small, but I'm coming from a house. It seemed small, but I know it's probably the norm. The staff was just very helpful, knowledgeable, and were able to answer most of my questions. It appeared to be very clean, I like that. It was a nice building. I thought that the size of the rooms was a little small. The atmosphere felt very nice, comfortable, and homey feeling.

My mother left her home of 55 years to move into Brookdale Southfield, and I can’t express how grateful we are for this decision. From the moment she arrived, she was immediately impressed with the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Her apartment was beautifully designed, providing just the right amount of space for her to feel comfortable and independent. One of her favorite parts of the day was getting dressed for dinner and heading downstairs to enjoy a meal and conversation with her new friends. Brookdale Southfield didn’t just provide her with a new home—it truly added years to her life, bringing her joy and a renewed sense of community.
