Beds are not made up properly when sheets are put on and sometimes mattress covers are missing and soiled mattresses covered up. These are just a few of the problems. They promise to give showers 2 x wk, but unless you monitor and insist it's done, it won't happen. The current director (Edy), pretends she cares about your concerns, but brushes problems off, and nothing improves. Cambrian Senior Living of South Lyon is a top notch living environment for seniors. From my first encounters with staff about questions regarding the facility and care of its residents, I was greeted with kindness and professionalism, which continued the entire time of my mother’s stay. The talented activity leaders planned fun, daily entertainment, both in residence and on field trips. They made every resident feel special. The health care providers and skilled care providers treated each resident with respect and dignity. If you are looking for a residence that provides comfort, skilled assistance and care for your loved one, in a beautiful environment, you will find it at Cambrian Senior Living of South Lyon.
Finding Cambrian for my mother was a gift! Love that it is an independently owned assisted living and memory care residence that always puts the welfare of their residents as their first priority. The entire staff of administrators, nurses, caregivers, housekeeping, and enrichment coordinators are professional and caring! Truly angels on earth!
Recent resident outings have included, lunch @ Cracker Barrel, PINZ Bowling, Matthaei Botanical gardens and resident favorite Guernsey! The 13-passenger bus is wheelchair accessible with lift and driven by chauffeured licensed drivers.
This is an excellent facility. They take wonderful care of my mom, June.
Very nice people work here. My grandfather is very happy here.
