I visit my mom who lives in Holland home Fulton Manor. Also my sister is activities coordinator and I help her on occasions.
Fulton Manor is the best HFA facility in America
I had placed Mom at Holland Home Fulton Manor several times for respite care and I really liked the place. They had individual rooms and they provided the meals. They also had a community room and an outside area for the residents. Their staff was great. It was also a secure place and was quite accessible.
Mother in law has lived here for 15+ years, never a problem
We placed my mom on the third floor memory care and from day one we were very impressed with not only their ability to provide care for their residents but also their ability to care about their residents. They also foster the atmosphere where the residents care about each other. Each resident has a nurse case manager that oversees the care and is accessible to the family for any questions. The Med nurse and the aid work well together. It is a real cohesive team! Her room was nothing fancy but it was actually just what she needed and no more! I cannot say enough about the care my mom received in her short stay when the Lord suddenly took her home!
I’m impressed with Holland Home Fulton Manor. They’re non-profit, which I like. It seemed very no-nonsense, no frills, and didn’t seem like they were trying to impress anybody. The staff was very kind, very straightforward, and answered all of my questions. I would rate them a 4 from a one-time visit.
I was able to take a tour at Holland Home, and it was a nice facility. They have lots to offer for different levels of care. The staff seems friendly, and the people living there seemed happy. Their rooms are just like an apartment room with one room and a bathroom with a sink. They do have an activity director, and I think they have two activities everyday. They play bingo and watch movies as well.
8/15 called. They said their facility requires a $5000-7500 entrance fee. They have a 'promise of continued care' which means that when additional care is needed she will receive priority, and if there is a time when she can no longer pay for the care, it will continue anyway. When first admitted, she has to provide proof that she can pay for two years of care. Charges begin at $3600/mo, which includes a single living/bedroom, meals, laundry, cleaning. They have doctors who come into the facility, they do not provide transport to outside doctors. They will do an assessment to determine level of care.
