Anything owned by Mike Chaffee I wouldnt recommend! He owns creekside manor.check out my review there.they are close by eachother. If I could say zero I would. I will say at first I thought they were ok.Mike Chafe sold my special needs brothers guardian it was a great long term place that specializes in many of the problems my brother had. Fast fwd about 3 yrs he has lied,stolen, and not just built a relationship with my brother but drastically ended it when the family started to address his issues. Mike Chafe had my brother live in the AFC home at first then within weeks moved him to 1 of his independent living houses on the property (its listed as a single family home 2 bedroom but is a 3 bedroom apartment he uses for his residents)and my brother wasnt independent since he still needed meds delivered and people checking in (per mike and his guardian)that apartment also has resting water in the basement with what looks like black mold. I called APS and heard it was assigned but nothing else.but my brother was given the option to move to a "duplex" few Mike's away.its a 2 bedroom trailor with a built in wall.my brother uses the back door to get in and the neighbor uses the front. And recently with 90 plus temps my brother noticed it has central air and turned it on.good thing my brother butt dialed me cause I heard when Mike Chafe came over and found out he was using it so I heard him say it's to expensive to run this and he cut the cord in the furnace that runs it!my brother has asthma a pace pacemaker had heart surgery and was given a 6 inch fan has only 2 screens in windows and we gave him a window fan when we found out that was in the car..this "duplex" is also listed as a single family home 2 bedroom trailor and since hes "renting 1 of his independent houses to my brother" is why it's legal to cut the AC but his guardian should right..well she wont cause Mike told her my brother nailed the windows shut and has all screens.we know otherwise.they are con artist's out there,making money how they can off special needs people. Become iij ng their payee and or guardian.and we have been forced to take over guardianship of my brother just to get him out.we have reported Creekside Manor to LARA as well as called APS 2 different times about this heat issue.my brother is hot,his mental status is getting worse and Miken is gladly collecting money off many people illegally and making people worse along the way. His wife Mary Chafe has a sister that had a AFC home in grand ledge ran similar and was shut down for it. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!
