Park House Southfield I

There is big problem with theft. My aunt had almost all her jewelry and other valuables stolen from her apartment. It wasn't a break-in. It was someone(s) with access! The food was just OK. The side doors were not secure & often left ajar. On the plus side, the apartments are more spacious then other facilities in that price category. However, giving what we know now, we would have chosen a different facility.

I have enjoyed it living at park house Southfield. The building is kept very clean and my apartment is cleaned once a week. Activities are provided most days that keep residents entertained and in good physical health. The only problem I have had is with some of the meals. I would like a survey taken or some other method of residents giving feedback on the meals. Perhaps a box could be placed in the dining room along with papers to write comments about a meal.

I would tell others if you want independent living, this isn't the place to be. The food they cook, I throw must of it away. There is no communication with anyone in the community. I prefer to cooking my own meals.

Updating my post titled unhappy tenant I met with both directors of Parkhouse Sfld. I'm 100% satisfied with the outcome of the meeting. All concerns have been addressed & implemented. I am now the happy tenant. The housekeeping & kitchen staff also have met with me offering their full support we will all work together this is a large community there are emergencies & non-emergencies which the latter is not top-priority but will be process. To future residents come join us.

We toured this community for my father. The staff was nice and able to answer the questions that we had. This community is very big and had more than one lever. The menu looked appealing. We liked the activities that mold of being offered for my father. We would recommend this community for families to tour for the care of a loved one.
