3.9 · 44 reviewsMy mom was there for 3 days instead of 3 weeks. We had to pull her out of there! (1) She had a roommate that was semi conscious and moaning constantly (2) The best that they could do for my dad to spend time in the room was to provide him a hard folding chair. (3) It was dirty. (4) Meds were inconsistent and not tracked visibly. Unfortunately there is so much demand for this sort of facility it was full anyway! Tragic. We found another facility that was night and day better.
Excellent Care!
My sister has been here for about two years and the nurses and staff have always been so great. They communicate and make sure to keep her comfortable.

I am a nurse with Brighton Hospice and I have some patients that reside in this facility and I will say I absolutely love how involved the staff is. Not just the nurses and the CNAs, everyone cares and is so involved from social work to activities. They CARE. They have a doctor and two nurse practitioners that see all of the patients and ensure they are receiving the best care. They always have great activities throughout the day and church services. This is my favorite facility I visit and recommend it to other patients and their families I see! It really feels like a home here. 10/10
Do not let your family go to this facility it is dirty the people don’t take care of the residents the employees are shady and the administration doesn’t do their jobs and try to blame the family for them not following up on the paperwork when they don’t bring it to you. And things come up missing. If you love your family member stay far away from west hickory haven!
